WEB DESIGN
My experience in web design - 6 years.
I know HTML and CSS (features of different browsers) very well. As a basis
for my design style - functionality, dependence of structure and design to the main
goal (a created site), easy navigating and comfort for web surfers. My web
pages load quickly , and look the same in different browsers and will never
be more than 60 kB.
All sites I build using HomeSite, graphics - in XaraX (former CorelXara). If
it is needed, I am able to use many other specific software for the better
execution of the concrete project. Using the vector package (XaraX) increases speed of execution and allows me to make changes "on the fly".
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Experience in graphic design - 10 years.
I published approximately 25 books which included translating them into English and distributing them worldwide ( USA, Europe, Australia, and Asia ) .
Accordingly, I feel very comfortable in such packages as, Adobe PageMaker,
Illustrator, Photoshop, ImageReady. But my most used is the vector package - XaraX. And to accompany that I use the packages - MS Office, Adobe Acrobat (including Reader and Distiller).
With the exception of the book publishing, I am engaged in design of such
full-color production as: labels, corporate ID, flyers, cardboard packing, handbills,
brochures, calendars, business cards, logos Etc. I know the problems of
color and color separation very well.
I have alot of experience doing remote work using the Internet: I did layout
/ design of the international newspaper "Choice" in Russian and American
languages (the newspaper is issued in USA), design of the full-color
catalogues, covers for CD and build the websites.
